Special Edition - Chainsaw Dad

This morning my dad was standing at the backdoor (which is all glass) watching the cats eat breakfast, suddenly he said "I need a chainsaw." Not only was it out of the blue, but because he said it while looking at the cats, it startled me for a second. He was actually talking about something else entirely, but it was still funny and I had to share.

Since this comic blog is supposed to be about kids this is a "Special Edition." Gotta love those funny moments you find in life!

Revenge is Sweet

At work last Saturday we held a circus day! The providers all voted to see which one of us would get the special "pie in the face." The happy-go-lucky Billy got the most votes and won the chance to learn how it feels to have whipped cream all over your cheeks. He was a good sport as we all knew he would be until about half through when he began sharing the experience with the other providers and kids.

One particular girl had a good smash until Billy whipped back at her. None of us expected her to make a final lash out. It was adorable.

Just remember mess with the bull and you get whipped cream in your face.

Donut Accusion

I loved this moment. Granted I wasn't in the room when it happened but I saw it all, just the same. Silly friends, bored as their children play independently found a new way to play, though if the ring toy was unintentionally thrown I don't know. I just know it was funny as both pointed to the innocent child day-dreaming in the corner; he didn't even realize he was being blamed for anything at all. Mean while the girl just returns to her playing.

Cover Your Eyes

Well, I guess the great thing about being your own boss is that you don't get in trouble when you're past deadline. I plan to upload a new strip each Tuesday, well its Sunday and I am just now getting something up. But hey at least I got this here.

At work, we have group time lead by a provider and child. The provider holds name cards to see who will pick a song and the child is suppose to cover their eyes and pick a card (so that they don't cheat and pick their own names). However, my little buddy here has trouble covering his eyes not his forehead and it makes me laugh every time.
